Intersnack makes the business smarter with Elvenite

Intersnack is a global snack giant with operations in over 30 countries worldwide. In the Nordic countries, we often get to enjoy their crispy brands Estrella and Maarud. The company has experienced incredible growth and success over the years, but with expansion and acquisitions also comes a multitude of different IT systems and solutions that become complex to manage as the company grows.

Case

A common solution for all different companies

To create a solution that can simplify, streamline, and coordinate all the different business processes and systems of the companies, Intersnack started an ambitious project where they identified the various processes and needs of all value streams. The result was a "blue print" that established the common delivery per process, focusing on needs, working methods, and solution requirements.

The solution was to consolidate all operational systems within Infor's product portfolio, and in 2021 the first company successfully went live. By placing all systems and solutions in a common environment, we reduce administration, leading to higher quality, fewer errors, less duplication of effort, and a smoother operation. Additionally, more time is freed up for more creative and innovative tasks, which are critical for the company's long-term success.

Creating a sustainable BI architecture and IT-solution

Elvenite was entrusted with creating a long-term solution that covers the analysis and reporting needs of all processes for future implementation across all companies in the group, which involves a mix of thousands of users. We contributed with business expertise, architectural roles, and developer perspectives in the project.

Our collaboration with Intersnack continues to thrive (10/10 in NPS – a measure of customer satisfaction), and we are now working on further developing their processes and solutions. In the coming years, we will implement modern cloud solutions from Amazon, Microsoft, and Qlik in more of their companies and countries, to ensure that they can continue to expand and drive innovation from a global perspective.
