Infor Process Mining – See how your ERP processes actually work

But what does the term Process Mining actually mean, and how does it specifically work in Infor's solution? Let's start from the beginning and clarify the concepts.

What is process mining?

Process mining is a method that analyses data from your business system to map and understand how the organisation's processes actually work. The technique is based on real event data and shows exactly how different activities and steps in a process are carried out, rather than how they are documented or intended to work.

Process mining is used to:

• Measure the performance of processes over time

What is Infor Process Mining?

Infor Process Mining is Infor's solution based on Process Mining technology, specifically designed for integration with Infor CloudSuite and products within Infor OS. The solution offers quick, accurate insights to optimize ERP processes and improve decision-making.

How does Infor Process Mining work?

Infor Process Mining works according to the following steps:

2. Visualisation: Collected data is transformed into clear visual maps of actual process flows.
3. Analysis and improvement: Quickly identify bottlenecks, inefficient steps, and deviations from your standard processes.

How to get started with process mining

For best results, we recommend starting with about two months of data from daily operations. Process mining is particularly well-suited after a system implementation to follow up and improve processes.
